After the very long ride from the East Coast we found ourselves in our beloved North Dakota. It is hard to explain the amazing beauty of this place. Of course the plethora of gamebirds is what draws so many here each fall. Certainly the landscapes while in search of them touches one’s heart for a lifetime. From the native prairie grasses, open expanses of CRP and cultivated fields rolling across the horizon it leaves one with a sense of being small.
