Early October in the North Maine Woods usually has a lot of leaves on the trees…

We affectionately call them ‘excuses’ for our Sports as they always seem to be the reason for a miss.

They also make for a great hiding place for a wild flush to erupt from where you didn’t know the King was patiently waiting for the gun to pass.
