Last weekend, I traveled to NY State to complete the last bit of research I needed for the full review of my Upland Gun Company Venus build.
The journey began two years ago with Keith Lupton, who carefully measured and fitted me before forwarding my precise measurements to UGC to begin the process of building a shotgun tailored specifically to me.

I have had my Venus in my hands for a bit over a year now. It traveled a lot of miles and wandered many a covert with me last season and I have put many a shell through it. ‘Fritz’ as I have named him in honor of the expertly engraved likeness of my boy that adorns it.
As promised at the beginning of this journey, we are going to put it all out there. The good, the bad, and any ugly, from the start of the process to today.
Follow along over the next couple of weeks as I share the journey from concept to delivery and beyond!
