After nearly a year of waiting, my Upland Gun Company – R.F.M. Armi Venus has arrived!

To say that I was stunned when I first held him would be the understatement of a long while. My eyes welled, yet I held back the tears as I was at the FFL and would have to hand him back for a few days as NJ processed the background check.

Having it before me proved that the pictures from Italy could not do this piece of art and craftsmanship justice. I feel so thankful and incredibly Blessed to be able to partake in this opportunity.

Last night, I opened the case to look at this gift with my wife. She sat with me, marveled at the workmanship, and supported me through the tears I shed looking at my Dear Fritz so beautifully and expertly engraved on the bottom of the receiver. It was the beginning of a very special moment. My youngest daughter came in, and my wife asked her to look at what I had just received. Sitting beside me as I gazed at my boy, tears rolling down my face, she who was barely 9 years old when he went to the endless coverts of heaven said, “That’s Fritzy!”
